The UFC is heading back to Hollywood in a big way 👊 — with Road House 2 officially stacking its cast with some of the fight world’s biggest names. Following the massive success of the 2024 Road House remake starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor, Amazon MGM is now turning up the heat for the sequel.
According to Deadline, six professional fighters are joining the Road House 2 cast — including Michael Chandler, Dustin Poirier, Michael “Venom” Page, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, Tyron Woodley, and Rico Verhoeven, the GLORY heavyweight kickboxing champion 💥. UFC veteran Jay Hieron is also returning, reprising his role as fighter Jax Harris.
That’s not all — the film will also star Dave Bautista and Aldis Hodge, giving fans a mix of MMA legends and Hollywood heavyweights 💪🎬.
While Conor McGregor stole the show in the first film as the menacing villain “Knox,” he’s not expected to return this time around. Instead, McGregor is reportedly focused on his long-awaited return to the octagon — possibly at the historic UFC White House event in June 2026, where he’s been linked to a blockbuster fight with Michael Chandler 🏛️🇺🇸.
Road House 2 will reportedly go even bigger than the original, with filming expected to take place across the United Kingdom, Malta, and Savannah, Georgia. Fans can expect more action, bigger fights, and possibly some real-life cage rivalries spilling onto the movie set 🔥.
Several of the cast members have acting experience already — Rico Verhoeven starred in Black Lotus and Den of Thieves 2, while Tyron Woodley appeared in Cobra Kai and Straight Outta Compton. Still, the addition of Chandler and Poirier — two of the most respected names in UFC history — adds a new level of authenticity to the film’s fight scenes.
The Road House remake followed Jake Gyllenhaal as Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter turned Florida bar bouncer who faces off against a ruthless crime boss.
